CARNIVORES

An animal that feeds on flesh
a betta fish is a carnivore but it mostly eats betta pellets, which is made from fresh seafood

HERBIVORES

An animal that feeds on plants
llamas are herbivores

OMNIVORES

An animal or person that eats food of both plant and animal origin

a human such as this boy, can eat plants (vegetables, fruits, ect..) and meat

EPITHELIAL TISSUE

Cells which form a lining on the outside of the body and on the inside of the respiratory and digestive tracts and other organs
skin is made up of epithelial tissue

SIMPLE FRUIT

An indehiscent fruit derived from a single ovary having one or many seeds within a fleshy wall or pericarp
an apple is a simple fruit

TOPSOIL

The top layer of soil

INVERTEBRATES

An animal lacking a backbone
an ant is an invertebrate
